Nayely is a vocational rehabilitation counselor with a background in education, and that experience shapes how she approaches counseling. Teaching taught her that everyone has different strengths, learning styles, needs and goals, and that finding the right path often means taking time to understand what works for each individual.
She supports a broad range of clients as they navigate employment, education, career goals and life transitions, with a strong appreciation for individualized support, accommodations, and looking past challenges to recognize each person's abilities.
“I believe counseling should feel like a conversation, not a one-size-fits-all process. I want the people I work with to feel comfortable sharing their experiences, asking questions, and being honest about what they need.”
Being bilingual is central to how she connects with clients. “Because many of our clients are immigrants like me, I can connect with them on a deeper level and better understand some of the experiences they may face.” She covers files in both Southern and Northern Nevada.
