Vocational Rehabilitation Plan Development
Development of the rehabilitation plan with the insurer and the injured employee, compatible with the claimant's age, physical condition, abilities and interests, and sized to the impairment rating.
What this involves
Under NRS 616C.555 the counselor develops the plan with both the insurer and the injured employee. Program length is keyed to the permanent partial disability rating under NRS 616C.555(3): nine months at 0%, twelve months from 1% to under 6%, and twenty-four months at 6% or greater.
Performed under NRS 616C.555. Eligibility for vocational rehabilitation services is governed by NRS 616C.590 and the written assessment required by NRS 616C.550.
