Maria brings more than 35 years of dedicated service to the State of Nevada, built around helping families, solving problems, protecting communities and making a difference in the lives of others.
Her experience spans investigations, compliance, family services, vocational rehabilitation, training and case management, working with individuals, families, youth and communities to help people overcome barriers, find resources and work toward their goals.
As a Compliance Investigator she investigated suspected fraud and violations, prepared detailed reports, and worked alongside local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to help ensure cases were handled with accuracy, fairness and integrity.
