Alondra comes from an immigrant family and has called Las Vegas home for nearly her entire life. Growing up bilingual, she often helped her parents translate, understand unfamiliar processes and get the information they needed — showing her early how important it is to have someone you trust to guide you through something unfamiliar.
Vocational rehabilitation became personal for her: her father experienced a work-related injury, and she knows he could have benefited from this kind of guidance and support.
“What I enjoy most is getting to know the people I work with and learning their stories. It is rewarding to watch someone work through school, become more confident, and start believing in their ability to return to the workforce.”
She particularly values helping Spanish-speaking clients feel comfortable and understood throughout the process, and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in ultrasound.
